１） 韓国はよくやった！悔いはない準決勝、ドイツに０−１で惜敗

よく戦った、太極（テグク）戦士たちよ。悔いのない勝負で、世界人たちに大韓民国を改めてしっかりと刻み込んだ。
サッカー２００２韓日ワールドカップ（Ｗ杯）準決勝・韓国―ドイツ戦。
世界４強にまで駆け上がった韓国サッカー代表チームは２５日、ソウルＷ杯競技場で行われた準決勝、対ドイツ戦で、後半３０分、ＭＦミヒャエル・バラックに決勝ゴールを許し０−１で負け、決勝進出に失敗した。
決勝進出はならなかったが、思い残すことなどない。世界４強の健気な韓国の健児たちに、全国民は心からの激励の喝さいを送った。
今回のＷ杯で、我々はすでにＷ杯以上のものを得た。
４７００万の国民が、こんなにも一つになって喜び、地を踏み鳴らしたことがあったろうか。
思想と宗教、地域と貧富の差が「デハンミングク（大韓民国）」という溶鉱炉に溶け込み、一丸となる胸いっぱいの感激を体験した。
グラウンドでは、１１人の太極戦士たちが駆け巡り、全国民は男女老若を問わず、ひとかたまりとなって「大〜韓民国」「コリア」を叫んだ。
ソウルの世宗路（セジョンロ）交差点をはじめ全国各地の街は、７００万人を超える国民応援団が演じる「赤い波」でうねった。
Ｗ杯の韓国戦が行われる日は、こうして国民たちはみんなが一つになった。これまで、どんな政治勢力も、指導者も果たせなかった国民統合がサッカーを通じて完成した。
一つとなった我々の姿と、そこから湧き出るダイナミックな力には、世界も驚いた。一丸になれば不可能などない、ということを証明したのだ。
２００２Ｗ杯は、まだ終わっていない。
韓国は２６日、埼玉で行われるブラジル・トルコ戦の敗者との間で、２９日、大邱（テグ）で３位決定戦を残している。また、開催国として、我々にはＷ杯を完璧に締めくくらなければならない責務がある。３０日には、今大会の終わりを飾る決勝戦が横浜で行われる。
共同開催国の日本は８強進出こそ果たせなかったが、惜しい気持ちを振るい落として大会の仕上げに向けて最善を尽くしている。
３位決定戦と決勝戦。２００２韓日Ｗ杯を世界の歴史に永く残るイベントに仕立てるため、力を合わせるべきだ。

and her (cousin)[カズン]. Her (cousin) believes that Rica will (make) a
(good) dress designer.
７）Hiroshi has wanted to become a teacher since he was a child. (Once)
he read in the newspapers that many children could not go to school
because they were often sick. (Since) he wasn't a healthy child (himself),
he wants to help (other) (weak) children. He knows that teachers visit
these children at home or in the (hospital). Hiroshi wants to become
that (kind) of teacher. He has not said (anything) about this to his
parents (yet), but he believes that they will (encourage) him.
８）The (popularity) of the (Internet) has (led) to a rapid（ラッピッd）increase
in computer use（ユース）. On the (Internet), people can shop, (make) hotel
reservations, and send e-mail. They can (also) (gather) information
(from) all over the world, 24 hours a day. But the (main) reason (for)
the (Internet) (popularity) is (that) people can use it without (ever)
(leaving) home.
１０）(These) days, people are searching (for) solutions（ソリューションz）(to)
the problem of (heavy) traffic in cities. For example, (some) people
(park)[駐車する] their cars at the edge of the city and then use public
transportation[公共交通] to get to (work)[職場] or go shopping. Others try
(not) to drive (during)[ドュァリンg] rush hour. People have realized that
(fewer) traffic (jams)[より少量の交通渋滞] mean less stress and a (cleaner) environment.

very well. 「トロトロトロトロ登呂遺跡！とっろいなあ！」, said TA's daughter ten years ago.
TA追追追記）「『自分の弱点分野』だけ（余裕かまして）やっていたら、昔できていたところが出来なくなってしまっていた！ゾゾゾーーー！」
