DO NOT WASH AWAY TOO MUCH TOILET PAPER!

WASH AWAY SOME AT A TIME!

IF STUCK, IT WILL COST YOU \10000 FOR REPAIR!

The Washington Post 1

South Korean political leaders had hoped for a formal apology from
Washington not only because of the loss of life at No Gun Ri but also as an indirect way of resolving a long-standing grievance with Japan, which has never apologized for atrocities committed by its soldiers in Korea during World War II, according to outside experts who advised the Pentagon on the investigation. The South Koreans believed that a U.S. apology for the much lesser incident at No Gun Ri would establish a precedent that would increase pressure on the Japanese to make an expression of guilt.
